Whether seeding a new lawn or overseeding an existing one, Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix® is ideal for achieving lush, healthy grass. To ensure the best results, it is recommended to apply this product in the spring or fall when soil temperatures average between 55°F and 70°F or air temperatures range from 60°F to 80°F. Using a Scotts® spreader for application is recommended, with specific settings provided on the product label.

Watering daily or as needed, especially until the seedlings reach a height of at least 2 inches, will help keep the soil surface moist for optimal growth. Each 5.6 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix® covers 745 sq. ft. for new lawns and 2,240 sq. ft. for overseeding.
