Zoysia Sod Plugs

Premium Zoysia Sod, in perfect slab form, is available for cutting into plugs to plant on your lawn. Cutting the sod yourself is the most cost-effective method of establishing a Zoysia Lawn. Each piece measures 18" x 18". To cut the sod, simply unbox the turf so the dirt side is facing up, making it easier to cut with a knife. Cut vertical strips through the sod, then use a knife or garden shears to cut individual plugs from the strips.

Please be aware that we are unable to ship to certain states including AL, AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, KS, LA, MT, ND, NE, NV, NM, OR, SD, TX, UT, and WA. Orders from these locations will be cancelled and refunded.

A single 18" x 18" Zoysia slab can be cut into plugs of any size, resulting in 144 plugs measuring 1.5" each. Plant the plugs 6 inches apart to grow a thick, lush lawn. This method is the most cost-effective way of starting a Zoysia Lawn.

Please note that slabs shipped in Fall/Winter are dormant and may appear yellow-brown. Water the slabs for 1 hour per day during the first 2 weeks until roots establish.
